What we do?
Perinatal Mental Health Training is a Community Interest Company (CIC) whose experts deliver high quality training in all aspects of mental health during the perinatal period and the impact this can have in later life.
Our training is for those who work in the field of perinatal mental health, those who want to support there work force through this period or for creating awareness of the impact this period can have. Our training will give you the skills required to understand the process and impact of poor mental health and equip them with the knowledge to recognize when a parent may not be coping, assess their needs and, offer treatments and solutions on how to manage their wellbeing, for a brighter future for the family.
Our focus is on raising awareness and expanding the knowledge of health and social care practitioners enabling them to provide quality care to parents, their infants and families.
We know there is no time limit on the effects of perinatal mental health and are aware that grandparents can suffer too.
Our face to face, virtual and e-learning courses offers a variety of training techniques to suit the participants and this is reflected in the excellent feedback we receive from the courses.
As a CIC we are also concerned with the perinatal mental health within our communities, and strive to collaborate with other charitable organisations and CICs to improve the well-being of parents and their infants.
